Halloweeeeeeennnn!!!!

It is that time of the year again. The time when parents stress to buy costumes at the last minute, and, to their disappointment, discover that everything has been sold out. Its the time when people decide that, because they are in costume, they can run as wild as they please. I personally hate Halloween, mainly for the aforementioned reasons, but also because Halloween is just. so. stressful. How young do you have to be to wear a costume? What kind of candy do most people like? What costume, if I'm not to old to dress up, is not to ridiculous? I hope that this post will give some insight to some of these problems, for those of you out their who are also panicking that Halloween is only 16 days away.

16 days. Thats like, two weeks.

Issue #1: Costumes

I have officially decided, that, if your costume is cool enough, you can be 104 and still dress up. I think the costumes that are "coolest" by definition are the ones that have some kind of irony, or inside meaning, or are just plain funny. For instance, for those lazy harry Potter lovers of you out there, I would recommend this costume: Dress up as a muggle. (Muggles are non-wizards in Harry Potter) Just wear your regular clothes and hang a sign around your neck that says "muggle".

Issue #2: Candy

If you want to be reaaaalllly reaaalllly cautious about candy buy some with no nuts that people generally enjoy, such as laffy taffy or twizzlers.  Some other important things to remember:
1) Have a limit to how much candy people can take. Something generous, but not too generous, such as, "Hey kids! You can each take 3 of your choice!
2) The candy always has to be wrapped. ALWAYS.
3) Don't be that person who leaves the bowl outside with a sign, because we all know that some jerk will come and take it all.

Because we've all been that person who takes 4 instead of 2, like the sign says.

Mwahahaha for now,

P.s.  Happy Halloween!
